“We are Moorish American because we are descendants of the Moorish Empire (Northwest and Southwest Africa) and born in America.”

Are you proposing, then, that black Americans descended from parts of Africa not associated with the Moors (for instance, from enslaved Africans taken from East Africa) should go by another name than Moorish American? Wouldn’t that have the effect of splitting black Americans into different groups?
